One of the unique places to visit around the islands is the shark pool, located at Menjangan Besar island in KARIMUNJAWA. They have two pools here; one is the home for the reef sharks and the other houses the black tip sharks. There’s also another small shark pool where we could swim with the sharks, turtles and starfish.

This is not a scene from JAWS VII: The Damned Children. This is a pool in Karimunjawa, Central Java, Indonesia where you can actually swim with THE fish. The ultimate fish, the shark. This shark won’t bite if you don’t have open wound or (girls!) not having your period. I’m sure Spielberg wished to found this pool when he shot Jaws, so he’ll be spared from the foul-looking animatronic.
